In a 30-year stint with them, he spanned roles in water treatment, networks, repair and maintenance. Eventually, Mick moved into strategic projects, including large diameter water mains, reservoir and pumping station construction.
During the latter stage of Mick’s tenure at Thames Water, he moved into a training and development role. With further qualifications obtained in Training Design and Delivery, he was able to offer his knowledge to technicians by carrying out operational and regulatory training.
After Thames Water, Mick desired the fulfilling nature of assisting others in the industry by leading his own business, Cherwell Water Utilities. By providing professional services at an affordable price, CWU’s services use honesty, respect, inclusion, transparency and passion as their key, foundational values.
Cherwell Water Utilities are approved contractors and affiliate engineers with WaterSafe and GasSafe, and have qualifications in Water Regulations and RPZ Valve installation, commissioning and compliance testing.
